About
Thrustmaster of Texas, Inc. was founded in 1984 in Houston, Texas, by Joe R. Bekker. Its first order was a self-contained diesel-driven propulsion unit for a barge of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the first Portable Dynamic Positioning System followed in 1988.
The headquarters and factory are in Northwest Houston on sixty acres, with over 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space covering in-house fabrication, machining, assembly, inspection and testing, plus more than 25,000 square feet of spare parts warehouse. All products are developed by an in-house engineering department and manufactured to ISO 9001:2015.
The company has sales offices in Rotterdam, Singapore, China, Dubai and Brazil, together with a worldwide network of agents.
