Azimuth Thrusters (Product Range)
Thrustmaster 360° azimuth thrusters for main propulsion and steering, 75 to 10,750 HP (55 kW to 8.0 MW), in Z-drive (direct diesel) or L-drive (electric or hydraulic) configurations for DP, escort and docking duties.
Description
Thrustmaster azimuth thrusters rotate 360° around the vertical axis to provide both propulsion and steering. They replace conventional propeller-and-rudder systems on displacement vessels, or provide positioning for semi-submersible rigs, drillships and FPSOs.
