Deck- or transom-mounted hydraulic outboard propulsion units, 35 to 1,000 HP, with 180° steering, proportional forward/reverse speed control, power kick-up and optional propeller depth adjustment.
Description
Thrustmaster Workmaster units are deck-mounted or transom-mounted hydraulic propulsion units from 35 to 1,000 HP, matched to the application from stock components. Steering through 180° combined with proportional forward and reverse propeller speed gives omnidirectional thrust.
Key features
- Outdrive includes steering actuator, stem rotation mechanism, stem, hydraulic propeller motor, propeller and tilt mechanism; routine servicing without disassembly
- Electric-over-hydraulic steering, 180° port to starboard under full thrust
- Bi-directional variable-speed hydraulic motor in a fabricated steel lower housing; full reversal in under 5 seconds
- Oil-lubricated taper roller propeller shaft bearings with L10 life over 20,000 hours at full load
- Pressure limiters and cross reliefs; propeller can be stalled without damage
- Hydraulic power tilt with cross-port reliefs for kick-up on obstruction or grounding
- Optional hydraulic propeller depth adjustment for light and loaded draft
Propellers and nozzles
- Open wheel: Gawn-series 4-blade manganese-bronze monoblock propeller with anti-cavitation plate
- Nozzle: Kaplan-series 4-blade manganese-bronze propeller in a Kort 19A-style steel nozzle
