Description

Keda Holding's LNG Fuel Gas Supply System (FGSS) conditions and delivers LNG to dual-fuel engines with precise control of pressure, temperature and flow. It is designed for both newbuilds and retrofits, allowing shipowners to convert vessels to cleaner dual-fuel propulsion.

Key features

  • Conditions LNG fuel with controlled pressure, temperature and flow
  • For newbuild and retrofit installations
  • Supports compliance with IMO NOx and SOx ECA requirements and the global sulphur cap

Fuel context

LNG is described as the mainstream alternative fuel thanks to mature infrastructure; compared with HFO, LNG offers about 28% lower CO₂ per kWh and over 90% SOx reduction, with an LHV of 49.5 MJ/kg versus 40.2 MJ/kg for HFO.

Applications

  • Tankers
  • Container vessels
  • LNG carriers
  • Ro-Ro ships
