Description
The Thrustmaster HI500 Series waterjet covers an application range of 400 to 800 hp and is designed to produce high dynamic thrust across 0–40 knots, combining high-speed performance with high bollard pull.
Key features
- Cavitation-resistant impeller; no cavitation range when coming onto the plane (typical high-speed jets cavitate at 15–20 knots)
- About double the bollard pull of high-speed jets with 350–380 mm impellers; can replace a 350 mm jet without moving the drive input location
- Integrated ride plate adding 1007 cubic inches of planing surface and protecting the steering from damage or net entanglement
- Changeable nozzle for performance tuning; 11.8 in nozzle for slow-speed manoeuvrability
- Twin reverse bucket giving up to 60% of forward thrust in reverse; deflector design for precise steering with low losses
- Composite stator housing with cast stainless steel vanes; stator openings 3 times larger than typical high-speed jets for debris passage
