Second-generation common rail liquid fuel injection platform for Everllence medium-speed four-stroke engines, replacing multiple legacy designs and forming the basis for future methanol and ammonia injection.
Description
Common Rail 2.2 (CR 2.2) is Everllence's second-generation common rail liquid fuel injection system for medium-speed four-stroke marine engines. It replaces multiple legacy injection designs with a single platform that supports current fuels, and its key design principles are being carried over to future methanol and ammonia injection systems. CR 2.2 is used, for example, on the latest version of the 32/44CR engine.
