Description
Alfa Laval provides marine equipment and solutions for biofuels, addressing the storage and treatment challenges of FAME (fatty acid methyl ester) and HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil), whose lower stability and density can impair separation. Biofuels were incorporated into ISO 8217 in 2024, allowing blends with unlimited FAME content.
