MES 1001 Ammonia
Danfoss IXA MES 1001 Ammonia: in-situ NH3 and NOx continuous emission monitor for post-turbocharger installation, with 1000 ppm NH3 range for ammonia-fuelled engines and SCR control.
Description
MES 1001 Ammonia from Danfoss IXA is an in-situ NH3 and NOx continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) for low-pressure (post-turbocharger) installation. It measures and reports NH3 and NOx in real time, and its signals can be used in feedback and/or feed-forward control of engine and SCR operation.
Key features
- In-situ measurement, avoiding the slow response of extractive systems caused by NH3 adhesion
- Extended NH3 range up to 1000 ppm for ammonia slip monitoring
- Fast response for real-time engine and SCR control
- Single compact unit requiring only power, air and data connections
- High accuracy and drift-free measurement
Applications
Ammonia-fuelled and ammonia-ready marine engines, where higher measurement ranges are needed to monitor ammonia slip for crew safety and emissions compliance.
