Compact synthetic MV and MF mufflers (90–150 mm, 11.5–43.5 litres) for fast craft with powerful engines and no room for a waterlock or gooseneck; MV includes a check valve.
Description
VETUS exhaust systems for high-performance craft are compact mufflers for fast boats with powerful engines where there is no space for a waterlock and/or gooseneck. They provide strong noise reduction with minimal back pressure and are made of lightweight, corrosion-free synthetic materials.
Range
- MV muffler – 90, 100, 125 and 150 mm; with check valve; e.g. 11.5 litres (100 mm), 37 litres (150 mm)
- MF muffler – 90, 100, 125 and 150 mm; e.g. 13 litres (100 mm), 43.5 litres (150 mm)
System components
- Transom connections in AISI 316 stainless steel or reinforced black plastic; MV muffler and transom connection have a check valve against seawater ingress
- Optional exhaust temperature alarm with sensor in the waterlock (XHSM) or exhaust hose (XHSH), recommended for early warning of overheating
