Corrosion and Wear Resistant Coatings and Linings

Model EP21SC-1, EP30D-7, EP30D-10, EP41S-1, EP41S-6, EP42HT-2

Solvent-free epoxy coatings against corrosion, erosion, cavitation and abrasion, for tanks, pumps, valves, pipes and above ground, underground and under water pipelines.

Description

Master Bond two component epoxy coatings protect against mechanical erosion and electrochemical attack. They can operate under continuous immersion and guard against flow-accelerated corrosion, particle impingement and cavitation.

Featured grades

  • EP21SC-1 – silicon carbide filled for abrasion resistance; -60°F to 250°F
  • EP41S-6 – resists methylene chloride, phenol (10%) and nitric acid (30%) for coating tanks, pumps and vessels; -80°F to +450°F
  • EP42HT-2 – castable up to 2–3 inches; -60°F to +450°F
  • Nanosilica filled grades with thermal stability up to 200–250°C

Applications

  • Internal linings and external coatings for above ground, underground and under water pipelines
  • Tanks, pumps, valves, impellers, pipe bends and wear plates
  • Corrosion under insulation
