REINTJES RHS Hybrid Systems
REINTJES RHS hybrid systems combine a gearbox, flanged electric motor/generator and frequency converter (60–630 kWe) for slow speed below engine idle, power generation or boost on FPP vessels.
Description
REINTJES RHS hybrid systems add an electric drive to the gearbox so a vessel can run at slow speed below main engine idle speed, with smooth running, low noise and low energy consumption. The combined electric motor/generator is flanged to the gearbox and supplied with a frequency converter as a single-source package. The electric drive can also be used for power generation or as a booster.
