Description
The Munson 48′ Series is designed for transporting heavy cargo in rough conditions, including firefighting, oil booming and vehicle transport. The 48-12 OSR "Pt. McIntyre" at Prudhoe Bay is a purpose-built oil spill response vessel with keel cooling and dry exhaust, Glendenning’s controls with joystick piloting, an integrated hydraulic system rated 100GPM @ 3700PSI, dual Maxilift cranes and hydraulic capstans, powered by twin Volvo D13 800 hp engines with Hamilton 403 water jets (39 mph light ship). The 48-11 Fire serves the City of Vancouver, WA.
