Austal's sustainment teams deliver through-life capability management for commercial and defence vessels, with services that can include guarantees to ensure operational targets are met.
Key features
- Vessel maintenance: routine servicing and preventative maintenance through to complex system overhauls, with rapid response teams, OEM expertise and dedicated supply chain channels
- Refit and repair: minor corrective works to major structural and systems overhauls, full dry-docking, class and statutory surveys, hull and machinery repairs, and propulsion and electrical system upgrades
- Condition assessments, obsolescence management, life-extension planning and upgrade feasibility studies
- Warranty: full warranty lifecycle management with OEMs, classification societies and internal engineering groups
- Service centres: global network with engineers and technicians available 24/7

- Cairns: 1,200 tonne rail slipway for vessels to 80 m LOA and 22 m beam, 1,120 tonne mobile boat hoist
- Brisbane: 2,000 tonne capacity, 90 m LOA, 21 m beam
- Cebu, Philippines: slipway to 85 m and floating dock to 101 m LOA
