Description
Vickers Oils' wire rope lubricants and grease (range launched in 2020) protect wire ropes against wear and corrosion by displacing moisture and forming a thin continuous film. Their fluidity lubricates rope strands internally, reducing metal-to-metal wear around drums and sheaves.
VICKERLUBE BIO WRL is a solvent-free, biodegradable wire rope lubricant made with renewable, biodegradable base oils for uses where contamination and environmental impact are a concern. It protects stored ropes and lubricates static or moving operational ropes.

Applications
Marine deck and winch ropes, quayside ship-to-shore cranes, straddle carriers and reach stackers, mining and construction hoist ropes, bridge and waterway static ropes, logging ropes.
