Bridge navigational watch alarm systems (BNWAS) and bridge alert management systems (BAM) that monitor OOW awareness and centralize bridge alarms.
Description
The bridge navigational watch alarm system (BNWAS) monitors bridge activity and detects operator disability that could lead to marine accidents, automatically alerting the Master or another qualified person in staged visual and audible alerts if the Officer of the Watch becomes incapable.
The Bridge Alert Management System (BAMS) merges all alerts into a harmonized presentation on a central screen, indicating connected nautical systems in graduated categories. BAM le guardian 3000 controls all audible bridge alarms via a bi-directional alarm, acknowledge and sound-off interface, provides alarm-specific instructions and keeps a continuous event log.
