EWOL Andromeda 3-Blade Feathering Propeller
EWOL Andromeda 3-blade feathering propeller in 13–17 in sizes for shafts up to 1 in (30 mm) and engines of 45 hp or less, with automatic blade orientation and external pitch adjustment.
Description
The EWOL Andromeda is a 3-blade feathering propeller for smaller sailing yachts, designed to be installed, removed and adjusted in a few minutes, even with the boat in the water. The orientation of the blades is fully automatic, and the pitch is set micrometrically from the outside using an adjustment ring. This lets thrust under power be optimized for higher cruising speeds at lower rpm with reduced fuel consumption. It shares the features and SWORD blade technology of the larger Orion and Pegasus models.
