About
Hale Propeller, LLC was started in 1995 by the father-and-son team Randal Hale Jr. and Randal Hale III, who built it into a propeller repair facility. In 1998 they brought the Hale MRI propeller scanning system to market; the company states it has built over 220 MRI units and that more than 250 repair shops worldwide use the system.
Randal L. Hale Jr. passed away in 2016, and Randal L. Hale III (Randy) continues to run the business. The company operates two locations: its main office and shop at 2 Custom Drive, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, and a second shop in Beaufort, North Carolina, located inside Jarrett Bay Boatworks.
