About
Thermex was founded in 1979 by Malcolm Ward as Rioneck Limited, later renamed Thermex, initially manufacturing shell and tube gearbox coolers for the Leyland Bus Company. The company now has more than 60 employees and lists over 100,000 SKUs.
Its range has since expanded to air-cooled plate and bar combi-coolers, brazed plate heat exchangers and a compact finned shell and tube range. Manufacturing is vertically integrated with CNC machining, supported by in-house design using PTC Creo with finite element analysis. Thermex holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification through LRQA.
