Header Tank Heat Exchangers
Shell and tube heat exchangers with integral expansion tank for cooling engine jacket water on marine and land-based engines.
Description
Header tank heat exchangers cool engine jacket water on marine and land-based engines where air cooling is not achievable because of installation or operating constraints. They combine a standard shell and tube design with an integral, self-contained water expansion tank.
Key features
- Integral, self-contained water expansion tank
- Floating tube stack avoids thermal expansion damage and allows easy removal for service
- 1, 2 or 3 pass coolant options
- Suitable for fresh water, sea water or contaminated, mineral rich water
- Material options for marinised engines
Applications
- Marinised engines on commercial, recreational and naval vessels
- Land-based engines, and CHP or cogeneration systems
