Marine Oil Coolers
Shell and tube oil coolers for on-board fluid power systems and marinised engines, with gunmetal headers and cupronickel tube stacks for seawater cooling.
Description
Shell and tube marine oil coolers (2300/2500/2700/2800 Series) remove excess heat from on-board fluid power systems such as steering systems and deck equipment, and provide water-cooling for marinised engines. They are built for seawater cooling duty, with gunmetal headers and 90/10 cupronickel floating tube stacks.
Key features
- 2300/2500 Series: extruded aluminium bodies; 2700/2800 Series: cast aluminium bodies
- Gunmetal headers for seawater cooling; 3-pass configuration as standard
- 90/10 cupronickel floating tube stacks
- BSPT threaded ports
- Leak detection rings, standard on 2700/2800 and optional on 2300/2500
- Viton seals allow operating temperatures up to 120°C
- Options: glass-filled nylon headers, 1 and 2 pass configurations, and 70/30 cupronickel, 304 stainless steel or titanium tube stacks
Applications
- Oil cooling for on-board hydraulics such as steering and deck equipment
- Water-cooling of marinised engines
