Description
Heger Dry Dock provides engineering support to yards bidding on or docking US Navy, USCG or MSC vessels. Stability calculations, block loading calculations, hurricane and earthquake overturning calculations, pumping plans and similar deliverables are prepared based on NSTM Ch997 and other relevant standards.

- Blocking and pumping plans for LHA-6 USS America, LHD-5 USS Bataan, LCS-2, CG 72 Vella Gulf, DDG 81 Winston Churchill, T-AOE-8 Arctic and Dry Dock Shippingport
- Docking calculations for USCG cutters including Maria Bray, Barbara Mabrity, Tampa, Harriet Lane, Cypress and Tahoma
- Blocking plans for drill rigs and drill ships including Q 4000, Pathfinder, Deep Blue and Vardholm; involvement in approximately 50 semi-submersible or jack-up drill rig dockings
- Unusual dockings: high block towers, skeg removal on LHA-4 Nassau, custom blocks for a Navy frigate and the emergency docking of SSN-711
