Description
The VULKAN PROPFLEX T combines a PROPFLEX N flexible coupling with a thrust bearing that takes the complete propeller thrust. This double-cardanic displacement coupling gives the best noise-reduction results in the PROPFLEX range. Rubber bushings transmit torque, compensate misalignment and isolate gearbox vibration from the ship structure; combined with elastic mounts it forms a key element of an overall acoustic concept.
