Description
The VULKAN PROPFLEX N is a flexible displacement coupling in which torque is transmitted and misalignment compensated through specially developed rubber bushings. These give noise-damping properties well above conventional displacement couplings, isolating gearbox vibration from the ship structure.
PROPFLEX N offers excellent misalignment capability combined with vibration isolation. The PROPFLEX family also includes PROPFLEX S (with integral thrust transmission) and PROPFLEX T (PROPFLEX N combined with a thrust bearing).
