Nord-Lock wedge-locking washers
Nord-Lock Group's paired cam/serration washers that secure bolted joints by tension rather than friction, M3-M130.
Description
Nord-Lock wedge-locking washers are the group's original technology, dating from 1982. They use a pair of washers with cams on one side and serrations on the other. Because the cam angle is larger than the thread pitch, a wedge effect prevents the bolt from rotating loose under vibration and dynamic loads.
