Description
Steiner has delivered five passenger/vehicle ferries of 149 ft to 180 ft to the State of North Carolina since 1992. The 180-passenger class (Southport, Neuse, Croatoan, Hatteras) has Caterpillar 3412 engines and Voith Schneider propellers; the 150 class (Floyd J. Lupton, Thomas Baum) has Caterpillar 3408 engines.
