Anti-Heeling System
Pump- and blower-based systems compensating static ship heel caused by loading, asymmetric load distribution or wind.
Description
Hoppe Anti-Heeling Systems compensate static ship inclinations (heel, list, tilt) during loading operations, with asymmetric load distribution and under wind load.
Key features
- Pump-based solutions using reversible propeller, centrifugal or screw pumps, or air blowers
- Blower unit compensation rate of 200-1,800 tm/min per blower unit
- Large systems with compensation rate of 10,000 tm/min (up to 15 pump sets or 4 blower units)
- Ice-heeling operation mode for ice-going vessels
- Special heel control on sailing ships and wind load compensation on cruise vessels
Applications
Container, heavy lift, offshore supply and construction vessels, sailing ships and cruise vessels.
