Description
The Digital Shipbuilding Innovation Assessment is a short online questionnaire (2 minutes, in five steps) that lets a shipbuilding organisation see where it stands compared to others in the industry, reveal digital maturity gaps, and receive a customised report for its team.
It assesses four focus areas:

- Getting Control of Data – e.g. whether production machinery is considered at the design stage, budgets for information platforms (PDM, PLM, ERP/MRP), access to real-time information.
- Managing Change – integration of shipbuilding information across departments, data reuse, availability of change management data.
- Digital Transformation – digital governance, how digital the data is, first steps taken, and gaps identified.
- Open Integration – vendor integration capability, cross-department information access, biggest information challenges, and how project information is stored.
