Høglund Remote Access Support
Remote service access to onboard Høglund automation computers via TeamViewerQS, secured by the cSafe firewall, so support technicians can troubleshoot without attending the vessel.
Description
Høglund Remote Access lets Høglund customer support technicians connect directly to onboard computers for remote service, solving problems without attending the vessel.
How it works
- Included with all new and upgraded Høglund installations.
- The master operator station (OS11) normally has a separate network adapter ("shipnet") that the crew connects to an internet socket.
- An "Enable remote help" push button in the system status mimic starts TeamViewerQS, which displays an ID and password for the technician.
- Older installations can be prepared by installing TeamViewerQS on OS11.
Cyber security
Access is protected by the Høglund cSafe firewall, which shields the automation system from cyber attacks and provides a secure channel for remote connection.
