Description
Ranger 2 is a Sonardyne ultra-short baseline (USBL) system used to track towfish, position ROVs, provide a dynamic positioning reference for vessels and communicate with AUVs, in any depth and from any vessel. It is built on the 6G (sixth generation) acoustic platform with Wideband 2 digital acoustic technology and can handle several tasks at once.
