Description
Portadam's engineered, patented flood protection technology consists of modular, deployable barriers that can be combined and customized for length, height and corners to suit each site. Systems are available up to 12 feet high; the most popular, FloodDefender®, ranges from 3 to 6 feet. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers tested the system, noting ease of construction and removal, low seepage, no required fill and high reusability, and bought 8,000 linear ft of 5-foot units.
