GALI Hydraulic Starter Motors
Lubrication-free hydraulic piston starters (H5–H30) for diesel engines up to 110 l, operating at 100–207 bar; for emergency marine, offshore and mining applications and black starts; class-approvable, ATEX/IECEx versions.
Description
GALI hydraulic starter motors are piston-type starters for diesel engines, designed for emergency marine applications, offshore oil installations and mining. A closed hydraulic system gives high reliability for starts after long periods of inactivity, and manual activation allows starting when no external power is available.
Key features
- Operate at 100–207 bar; direct operation at 207 bar
- Fast engagement for black starts
- High-strength cast aluminium; cast iron versions for mining where spark-generating metals are prohibited
- No external lubrication; resistant to humidity, salt atmospheres and high temperatures
- Standard SAE or custom mounting for easy retrofitting
