ERMA FIRST FLOW BWTS
Filterless side-stream ballast water treatment system for newbuildings, suited to large-capacity vessels.
Description
ERMA FIRST FLOW is an automated, filter-less, side-stream ballast water treatment system suited to large-capacity vessels. It requires less installation space than conventional systems.
Pre-assembled, skid-mounted components include electrolysis cells, transformers/rectifiers and degassing units. The components are installed in non-hazardous areas, which makes the system suitable for tankers. Treatment requires only 0.4% of the total ballasting capacity.
