ERMA FIRST BLUE CONNECT
High and low voltage shore connection system allowing vessels to shut down auxiliary engines at berth.
Description
BLUE CONNECT is an alternative maritime power (AMP) solution for high and low voltage shore connections. By plugging into an onshore power source, vessels can shut down their auxiliary engines while at berth.
The system suits retrofit and newbuild installations and is available containerised or stand-alone. Standard models serve Ro-Ro, Ro-Pax, PCTC and ferries, container ships, cruise ships and tankers, and it can be tailored to other vessel types. It holds Approval in Principle and is recognised as an Energy Saving Device by DNV.
Key features
- Four configurations: low-voltage fixed, low-voltage portable, high-voltage fixed and high-voltage portable
