SEACLOR seawater electrochlorination systems
Seawater electrochlorination systems producing sodium hypochlorite for biofouling control in power plants, LNG terminals and offshore oil and gas facilities.
Description
SEACLOR systems use only seawater and electricity, eliminating the purchase, handling and storage of hazardous chemicals. Modular electrolytic cell assemblies with DSA-coated electrodes produce sodium hypochlorite to prevent algae and marine growth in seawater circuits.
They are designed for continuous, unattended operation with low maintenance and minimal remote monitoring.
Key features
- Modular electrolytic cell assemblies with DSA-coated electrodes
- Turn-down ratio of 20-100%
- Cell life of at least 5 years
- Performs across varying water temperatures and chloride concentrations, including cold and shallow water
Applications
Power plants, cooling towers, LNG terminals, offshore oil and gas facilities, desalination facilities and coastal seawater systems.
