WeatherStation Instruments
Ultrasonic weather instruments with no moving parts measuring wind, temperature, pressure and more; 300WX adds GNSS and motion sensing for Dynamic True Wind.
Description
Airmar WeatherStation instruments use ultrasonic and solid-state sensing with no moving parts to measure wind, temperature, pressure and other atmospheric data on vessels, vehicles and fixed sites.
Key features
- 110WX for stationary sites in an IPX6 housing
- 150WXRS adds acoustic rain measurement
- 300WX combines ultrasonic wind with GNSS, a stabilized three-axis compass, rate gyro and accelerometer to compute Dynamic True wind while underway
- 300WX also reports relative humidity, heat index and wind chill, with Bluetooth CAST configuration
- Protocols across the family: NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, J1939 and CAN
Applications
- Vessel weather and true-wind data
- Vehicles and fixed monitoring sites
