About
PRIMAR is an international collaboration providing a consistent and reliable ENC service. It is operated on a non-profit basis by the Norwegian Hydrographic Service (NHS), with Electronic Chart Centre AS (ECC) supporting operations and technology development for the collection, quality assurance and distribution of official electronic charts. The RENC operates in accordance with the IHO's WEND principles.
RENC members are the hydrographic authorities of Albania, Canada, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, Mozambique, Norway, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, Ukraine and Vietnam. PRIMAR takes part in R&D projects including the S-100 and S-102 Demonstrators, Canada S-100 Sea Trials and Baltic Sea e-Nav.
