CEACT Information Systems, Inc. was founded in 1999 in Wayne County, West Virginia to develop specialized inland waterway navigation software. It partnered with SevenCs GmbH of Hamburg, Germany to develop CEACT, which was launched in 2001 after two years of development.
Sales, installation and support are handled through a network of authorized value added resellers along the inland river system.
