Description
South Bay Cable MUX umbilicals combine power conductors, quads and multi-mode fiber optics (62.5/125) under polyurethane or HD polyethylene inner jackets and HD polyethylene outer jackets. Published design examples:

- SB-45752: two #10 AWG power conductors rated 1,500 VRMS and five #20 AWG quads; 1.5 in diameter, 32,000 lbs breaking strength, 8,000 lbs maximum load, 60 in minimum bend diameter
- SB-46745: eleven #12 AWG conductors rated 1,200 VRMS; 1.22 in diameter, 24,000 lbs breaking strength, 4,750 lbs maximum load
- SB-46720: ten #13 AWG conductors rated 2,000 VRMS and 12 fibers; 1.22 in diameter, 29,250 lbs breaking strength, 7,300 lbs maximum load
