Pathfinder Commercial Radar
IMO-compliant (IEC 62288/62388) solid-state X-band radar for CAT 1, 2 and 3 SOLAS vessels, with 16 to 32-inch displays or a black-box version.
Description
Pathfinder is Raymarine's first IMO-approved solid-state open-array radar, type-approved for CAT 1, CAT 2 and CAT 3 SOLAS vessels and designed for compliance with IEC 62288 and IEC 62388. A fan-less, six-foot, low-profile open-array antenna uses CHIRP pulse compression and beam sharpening, and the solid-state transmitter is stated to exceed the performance of a 12kW magnetron.
