Onboard Carbon Capture from Shipping
Protea marine-approved gas analysers for monitoring onboard carbon capture systems, measuring CO2 and other exhaust gases in real time; available as in-situ (P2000) or extractive (atmosIR) units.
Description
Onboard Carbon Capture monitoring from Protea applies the company's marine-approved gas analysers to carbon capture systems on ships. The analysers measure CO2 and other exhaust gases in real time, letting operators continuously assess capture performance and support future regulatory compliance.
Key features
- Real-time measurement of CO2 and other exhaust gases upstream and downstream of capture equipment
- Marine-approved analysers, used on several marine carbon capture projects
- Supports evaluation of different capture approaches, including absorbent pebbles, electrolysis and non-pressurised gas separation membranes
Analyser options
- In-situ, such as the P2000
- Extractive, such as the atmosIR
Applications
- Onboard carbon capture and storage (CCS) R&D and pilot projects
- Monitoring of ship exhaust gas treatment for decarbonisation
