Description
FarSounder's Software Development Kit lets developers integrate 3D forward looking sonar data from the Argos 350, Argos 500 and Argos 1000 into their own products over standard Ethernet. The kit includes SonaSoft™ test server software, SonaSoft™ thin client software, the Interface Design Definition (IDD) with network packet specifications, example code and test data sets.
Key features
- Customized thin client (Windows only) that can be loaded as a child window in third-party software and restyled to match its colors
- Network API (any operating system) with access to the 3D point cloud of seafloor and in-water targets, vessel navigation sensor data, hydrophone waveforms and array geometry, gridded history data and all processor controls
- Integration examples in C++ and Python, with JSON API documentation

ECDIS/ECS sonar overlays, survey planning tools and autonomous vessel control systems.
