Aalborg D is a large-capacity oil or gas-fired D-type boiler for steam or hot water, delivered as a complete unit. It is especially suited to tankers.
Key features
- D-type design with steam and water drums connected by a generating tube bank
- Membrane-wall furnace with little refractory and external downcomers for effective circulation
- Steam capacity 25-120 t/h at 18 bar(g) design pressure
- Oil firing with the Aalborg KBSD burner; the Aalborg MPF is recommended for dual-fuel operation
Applications
- Tanker steam supply for cargo pump turbines, heating and tank cleaning.
