About
Zago began in 1908 as a small carpentry workshop opened in Venice by Carlo Zago. It supplied furniture for grand hotels, entered the shipbuilding industry in 1961 with the fitting out of the ferry Appia for Fincantieri, and moved to Scorzè in 1964.
In 1987 it registered the first Italian patent for prefabricated cabins. It entered yachting in 1994 and joined Ferretti Group in 2004. Massello was merged into Zago S.p.A. in January 2026.
