About
FCI Watermakers traces its origins to the early 1980s, when its founder and CEO began designing and manufacturing watermakers for the pleasure yacht industry; the straightforward designs gained acceptance in yachting as a dependable desalination product. The company cites over 35 years in business.
Over time FCI developed products for industrial, oil and gas sectors and expanded its capabilities to designs of up to 1000 m3 per day. Its V4 HMI/PLC control system provides automation and one-touch operation and is stated to carry type approvals from ABS, DNV GL, Lloyd's Register EMEA, Det Norske Veritas and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. Each unit is manufactured and live-tested in its West Valley, Utah facility.
