Appleton Marine

Appleton Marine began in 1972 as a division of Appleton Machine Company. In 1987 it broke away from its parent, became employee owned and gained API-2C certification. It built a 250,000 lbs winch test tower in 1988, expanded its production facility by 150% in 1994, became ISO 9001 certified in 1998 and doubled its production and office facilities in 2000.

The plant has a 250,000 lbs winch test tower with certified test weights, a winch test frame for loads in excess of 550 tons, a list-simulating crane test platform rated at 10 million ft-lbs overturning moment that can simulate a 15° list, and a second crane test stand added in 2007 rated at 25 million ft-lbs with a side load fixture. The quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and API Specification Q1, licensed for the API 2C Monogram (Certificate 2C-0002) and approved for MIL-I-45208.
