Battery Equalizer 24 VDC
Battery equalizer for 24 V systems built from two 12 V batteries in series; transfers energy from the higher to the lower battery at up to 2.5 A, drawing under 3 mA when balanced.
Description
The WhisperPower Battery Equalizer 24 VDC (part number 60110180) balances the state of charge of a 24 V system made of two 12 V batteries connected in series. It transfers excess energy from the higher battery to the lower one at up to 2.5 A; the current falls as the voltage difference decreases, and when the batteries are equal (fully charged) consumption is less than 3 mA.
