Noxudol 3100
Waterborne viscoelastic polymer sound damping paste for metal and plastic (car bodies, ships' hulls, ducts), at about half the weight of traditional bitumen carpets.
Description
Noxudol 3100 is a waterborne, viscoelastic sound damping paste based on polymers. Its flexibility converts sound-producing resonance into heat, giving a high damping factor at about half the weight per unit area of traditional bitumen carpets. It contains anti-corrosives and gives some protection against condensation.

- For metal and plastic 0.5 – 5.0 mm thick
- 1.0 – 2.5 mm dry film per application; consumption 1.5 – 4 kg/m²
- About 80 % of damping effect after water evaporation; fully hardens in 7-14 days, then paintable
- Dry film heat resistance max 100 °C; moisture pickup 3 % (STD 1027)
- Applied by airless pump, sprayer or roller
- Packaging: 600 ml spray, 1-lit canister, 5-lit, 20-lit, 208-lit barrel

Ships' hulls, car bodies, ventilating ducts, rail cars and industrial machinery.
