Description
GHS/Salvage is the salvor's package, consisting of GHS plus the CG, LS and MB modules. Because trim and heel angles are not limited, distressed vessels can be simulated in any orientation, from upright to upside down.
Features noted include quick hull model generation from limited information, damage simulation (compartment damage and hull deformation, including nonsymmetrical), partial flooding, ground reaction for stranded vessels, damaged and grounded stability and longitudinal strength, downflooding and spilling, sealed and vented tanks with pressure balancing for oil outflow, complex models such as ship-in-dry-dock, and a standard salvage-oriented menu system.
