Zupt was founded in 2005 with a stated mission to improve the accuracy, safety and environmental impact of navigation and positioning systems used in complex survey operations. The company's founder is described as having over 35 years of expertise in precise positioning, inertial systems and imaging solutions.
Zupt reports projects in more than 20 countries, develops all core technologies in-house, and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. It began offshore trials of remote C-PINS metrology in 2017.
