Fortress Marine Anchors

Fortress states that since 1986 its anchors have outperformed heavier steel anchors in holding-power tests and that, in US Navy tests, they withstood pull loads averaging over 200 times their own weight. The full product line has held ABS certification since the early 1990s.

Guardian anchors use the same alloy as the Fortress range but omit anodizing, adjustable fluke angles and several machining steps. The company supports its products with a parts replacement warranty and invites prospective distributors to apply through its website.
